Microsoft Outlook Express Internet Email Configuration
You can use Microsoft Outlook Express with your MillerMultimedia hosted domain e-mail account.
The following steps will set up Outlook Express to both receive and send e-mail messages with your e-mail account.
Disclaimer: Due to the complex nature of Microsoft Outlook Express, MillerMultimedia provides very limited support for this
product. Specifically only the basic setup and configuration of Internet email
for MillerMultimedia accounts is supported. We do not support the use of Outlook with Microsoft Exchange servers. To resolve issues such as corrupt
files and/or corrupt mailboxes, or troubleshooting filters and rules please
contact Microsoft's
Support (phone: 1-800-936-3500) directly.
- On the Tools menu, click Accounts.

- Select the Mailtab, point to Add, and then click Mail.

- In the Display Name text box, type your first and last name, and then click Next.

- In the E-mail Address text box, type your e-mail user name followed by @yourdomain.com;
replace example.com with your domain name, and then click Next.

- In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server text box, type example.com;
replace example.com with your domain name.
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type example.com;
replace example.com with your domain name, and then click Next.

- In the Account name text box, type your user name
provided by MillerMultimedia, this should be your full email address.
- In the Password text box, type your password.

Note: You have the option to have Outlook Express remember your password by typing it in the Password
box and selecting the
Remember password check box. Having Outlook Express remember your password means that you won't have to type your
password each time you access
the account; however, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer.
- Click Next.

- Click Finish.
- Select the account you just created, and then click Properties.

- On the General tab, under Mail Account, type something like Company E-Mail Account.

- Click OK, and then click Close.
IMPORTANT: If you experience problems sending
mail, please verify that your settings match the settings specified in this
document. If you continue to have problems using these settings, please check with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and see if they allow
emails to be sent to server's other than their own. If your ISP restricts outgoing email to their servers, edit your account
and replace the SMTP server name with the SMTP server name your ISP provided you.
